For You Are Beautifully and Wonderfully Made

I've been learning about all of the proportions of the head lately and have just been really amazed at how, I believe at least, Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) made all of it fit together and line up with other parts of the face.  This is just me thinking about things and I mean no offense to anyone, but I don't know if there is actually anyway for the face to exist the way it is without it being created.  I'm no scientist, but there is just no natural reason to explain things like the main third for the face starting at the hairline instead of the top of the head except that someone from the outside looked at it and decided it would look better if it started at the hairline.  It's also the only way for the face to be divided into thirds and still have the eyes in the middle of the head.  As I was learning about all of the proportions I started to wonder what it would look like to follow each proportion exactly and decided to do a head study.  The result can be seen above.  Being kinda of a clay sculpture, I thought it would also be fun to try to give it a brushed clay sculpture feel.  Although I wasn't able to figure out how to make it downloadable here on Deviantart, the rig and base retopologized head can be found on Blendswap here:  www.blendswap.com/blends/view/… and if you would like to see the full size renders as well as some notes on the project, they can be found on my website here: johnperkins.wix.com/john#!prop…
